Spoon Carving Workshop


Create your very own handmade wooden spoon to take home.

Suitable for both beginners and current spoon carvers, this workshop offers a detailed introduction to the art of spoon carving and guided tuition on how to better your spoon making.

Under the guidance of tutor Ian Glendinning and members of the Fyne Stirrers spoon carving club, learn knife techniques using kolrosing and chip carving knives to safely carve with confidence.

Please note no wood working experience is necessary for this workshop and all materials will be provided.

 

Your Tutor: The Fyne Stirrers

The Fyne Stirrers are a group of like minded spoon carvers from around Mid Argyll. The group meets at the Heart of Argyll Wildlife Organisation centre at Barrandaimh every 3rd Sunday of the month.
