2020 AGM - notes and reflections

The Board and staff would like to thank all who were able to join us tonight at our AGM.

It was important to take the opportunity to reflect back on what has been a rollercoaster year. Who would have thought this time last year just how much things have changed. However, as Gordon did say tonight the original objective of restoring the building has been achieved and we are ready for the next steps.

Despite all that came our way in 2020 it seems that there have been quite a few laughs along the way, as can be seen in this short film which was shared during the meeting. Special thanks to Fee Shaw for pulling this film together and to Anna Garvin who composed and recorded the beautiful piece of music which accompanies the film.

The formal part of meeting tonight saw 3 Trustees step down - Caroline Boswell; Alison McNab and Graham McQueen. Massive thanks to our retiring volunteer Trustees, who despite standing down from the Board will very much remain active volunteers with us.

Delighted to say that we also gave a big welcome to our new trustees nominated and accepted by members tonight - Sine MacVicar; Dr Richard Wilson and Alan Hoar . All of whom bring new skills and enthusiasm to support the next stage of the journey that is The Rockfield Centre.

Until we can meet you all in the Centre please do keep in touch, follow us on Facebook, join the online activity and make use of all the resources on the website.

For reference Link to copy of our draft accounts formally approved this evening.

Draft minutes from AGM will shared in due course.

Contact can be made via our contact page or direct email to any of our staff members.

Mòran taing/ Many thanks
