Art Explorers Oban class header.png

Art Explorers Oban are creative art sessions for children throughout the year during term time and some of the school holidays.

Art Explorers is all about giving children a chance to experiment with art materials, techniques and ideas. It is about the process of creating art not necessarily the final product. We discuss famous art and artists while connecting to the art in literature and music. We take a look at how art is a part of design, science and engineering and even maths. Projects include working with different types of paint, paper, clay, fibres or textiles. Each project is linked to the elements of art.

Club and camp sessions are for children in P2-P7. They run with a maximum of 12 children and are lead by a GTC qualified teacher. All materials are provided.
