If you feel inspired to try collecting plants for a natural dye, remember to always obtain permission before taking any plant matter and to only take 10% or less to avoid damaging the plant’s potential to continue growing. Also remember not to dig up any plants for the roots as this is illegal under the Wildlife and Country Act.
